Perse is a vest that comes out of the combination of a minimalist and simple cut with the extravagance of the tongue pattern (ikat).

Since the very beginning of this project, I wondered how one could bring a fabric that hundreds of years ago was used by Japanese kimonos and traditional costumes to a more contemporary fashion without falling into the clichés of fashion. The problem with the fashion that uses the fabric of tongues is that the saturation of the drawing itself generates a piece that is too eclectic. However, this same fabric with much more scaled up tongues, allows us to reduce the density of the drawing and even be able to appreciate the tongue more.
